Paris in December - Packing with P'Niche...

P'Niche is ready to head back to beloved Paris in just a few weeks - hooray! Packing is such a popular topic, and we've enjoyed sharing ideas for all seasons of "capsule wardrobes," winter, spring, fall, and summer. Some of you have privately contacted me (bonjour!) fearing you might have to "buy all new items" to achieve these capsule wardrobe looks - not at all!

P'Niche is going to get up close and personal, sharing the exact packing list for my upcoming trip (December 2024).

This is a truly special trip for me as I will spend three very full weeks in Paris - working, celebrating my 50th birthday, Christmas, and New Year's in Paris - all items that are high on my vision board.

These items are all in my personal wardrobe, "well loved"... and true confession time, I am checking a bag this trip, as I have also set up many shopping and social gatherings with fellow P'Nichers, and will need/want some more options.

And while the black pants may look like duplicates, they are different cuts and always get styled differently. I'll be glad to have both pairs with me on my trip...

The (unsponsored) black and brown leather belt you see is actually reversible - making it one less thing to pack, but two stylish (yet comfortable) options to have.

Aside from the first outfit option, which I will wear on the airplane to keep warm, this is a compilation of over 40 mix-n-match outfit options for December in Paris...

Trust me, you can do much more mixing and matching than what I am showing in the photo matches and stylings here. Start your packing engines ... on y va - Let's Go!

P'Niche's Personal Packing List:

And now (drumroll, please) the Look Book Options in "photo dump" format...

Oui - it's just that simple!

You don't already own what you see here? No worries! You can easily substitute your basic long sleeve tee for the Breton shirt, a rainproof puffer in place of the woolen coat, etc.

Pack all the scarves you can carry - they will work very hard for you on your voyage.

Remember, scarves aren't only around the neck - wear them as headwear, belts, accessories on your handbag - heck, I have even seen a woman turn a scarf into a handbag! The possibilities are truly endless.

Play around with what you currently have in your wardrobe and have FUN. Save your money to shop in Paris!

OK, P'Nicher, did you see any outfits you can use - or find a combo not shown? What are you including in your own December or Winter Holidays in Paris capsule wardrobe? Let us know in the comments section below and à bientôt!

Great article as usual! I am going to Vietnam and Cambodia for Christmas and New Year. So your article is very timely! My clothing choices will be different because it will be hot! Packing capsules are a great idea! Enjoy your birthday, Chrissy!
