INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tsp powdered sugar

1/2 tsp espresso powder (optional but boosts the cocoa flavor)

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate (chopped into small pieces)​​

Chantilly (whipped) cream for serving
LE SAVOIR FAIRE

In your medium saucepan, and over a medium to medium-low heat, whisk together your whole milk, heavy cream, powdered sugar and espresso powder until smallish bubbles appear around the edges of your saucepan.

Do NOT allow this mixture to come to a boil!​

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chocolate until thoroughly melted.

You can return the saucepan to a low heat if needed for the chocolate to completely melt.​

Serve with as much chantilly cream as desired.
